Howard Tenens – Case Study

Howard Tenens – Case Study

Established in 1953, today Howard Tenens has grown into one of the largest independently owned and operated logistics companies in the UK. The business, which originally began as a packing and manufacturing supplier is now recognised as an industry leader in complex logistics.

With over 450 mixed vehicles and assets in their fleet, Howard Tenens require their vehicles to represent their brand and have chosen RGVA as their preferred supplier of all vehicle graphics.

National Fleet & Compliance Manager, Alan Pellow, explains that after 5 years of working with RGVA, “we believe that RGVA’s levels of service and quality of graphics are the best on the market”. According to Alan, who is responsible for the company’s entire fleet procurement, “the longevity of the graphics is attributed to the high-quality materials and processes used by RGVA and the skilled technicians who fit them.”

A key consideration of Alan’s when selecting suppliers is their commitment to customer service and he explains that “the service we receive from RGVA is great and the team are so responsive – especially when there’s a requirement for a quick turn around.”

Since working with RGVA, Alan has also been impressed with the technician’s work on site at both Mercedes and Scania – where the majority of his brand-new vehicles are fitted with graphics during the PDA process at the manufacturer’s facilities. Alan also adds that “Scania have commented on the quality of the work from RGVA”.

On occasions where vehicles have suffered accident damage and new bodywork panels have been required, Alan has been impressed by the repair process carried out by RGVA to ensure that the vehicle graphics are accurately matched. Alan commented that “the process of resolving accident damage is easy – RGVA matches up the panel with a coded graphic and the finish is flawless.”

Alan adds that “I would recommend RGVA to any business – their vehicle graphics and vehicle wraps are high quality and the service is great.”
